2021 brought a year of milestones for rising singer-songwriter Chase Wright, including the release of his 10-song debut album Intertwined and kicking off his first-ever headlining tour with Tin Roof all resulting in an overwhelming response from fans discovering his music and streaming it to the tune of 75 million times. Now the Indiana-native adds another highlight to his growing resume earning a place on Spotify’s annual Hot Country Artists to Watch list for 2022.

“It’s unbelievable that I’m on the list of Hot Country Artists to Watch this year,” shares Wright. “I’ve listened to this playlist for years. This is an incredible honor to be included in such great company and I couldn’t be more thankful.”

Last year, Wright’s breakout hit “Why Should We” which was featured on “Hot Country” saw massive success on Spotify, garnering more than 17 million streams. With a sound that merges pop, rock and country elements, Wright’s songs were also highlighted on Spotify’s “New Music Friday,” “New Boots,” “Fresh Finds” and “New Music Nashville,” Apple Music’s “New Music Daily,” “New In Country,” “Country Risers” and “Fresh From Nashville,” Amazon Music’s “Breakthrough Country,” “Fresh Country” and more.

Wright wrapped 2021 with a seven-city headlining trek for Tin Roof’s “Nashville Hit the Roof” Series. The Tin Roof tour resumes this month with five additional dates beginning in Nashville, Tenn. on Jan. 25 ahead of stops in Columbia, S.C., Orlando, Fla. and more through the spring.

The artist Billboard notes “continues to impress with original material” released debut album Intertwined on Nov. 5 of last year. Produced by Jared Keim and Zach Abend, tracks like “Hangin’ On” and “What She Sees In Me” join fan-favorites on the album, including “Why Should We,” Wright’s debut single “My Kinda Morning” which MusicRow celebrated for its “melodies wrapped in spacious production, and rap-inspired cadences,” “Wish You’d Miss Me” that Country Now called “the quintessential heartbreak ballad” and “Drive” which led Sounds Like Nashville to implore listeners to “get in early with…this promising young artist.”

Post-breakup tracks like “Missing You,” “Why Can’t It Be Over” and “Lying With You” round out the album alongside title-track “Intertwined” featuring Canadian popstar Delaney Jane.
